Total cooking time: 7-8 minutes
Tip: For the best flavor, marinate the steak bites before cooking.
Do not overcook – the texture should feel tender, not too dense.

1. Thaw
   Thaw in the fridge overnight (preferred) or in cold running water for approximately 1 hour.

2. Season and Preheat Medium-Low
   Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
   Preheat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a pan on low-medium heat.

3. Cook for 7-8 Minutes
   Cook the steak bites on medium-low heat, flipping occasionally, until they have a nice brown sear.
   Do not overcook! (If it feels like Seitan, it’s overcooked.)

4. Rest and Finish
   Remove from heat and let the steak bites rest for 2-3 minutes.
   Add more salt, pepper, and steak butter to taste.
