The Basics: Know Your Ribeye 📖

Drop it lowww (keep heat low)
Keep the heat low for the best texture and juiciness.
Higher heat = firmer/drier

Cook carefully and slowly so you don't overcook

Cook your ribeyes in 4 easy steps!

THAW RIBEYES
Thaw in fridge overnight (preferred)
Or: Thaw in cold running water
(~ 1 hour)

Season and pre-heating
Season the ribeye with salt and pepper
Preheat the pan to medium-low and coat the pan with oil

Cook on
Medium-low
Cook the ribeye on medium-low for 7-8 minutes
Typical temp settings:
For gas stoves: "5"
For electric stoves: "4"
For induction stoves: "3"
Do not overcook! If the ribeye feels very firm (like Seitan), it's overcooked!

ADD MORE SEASONING & STEAK BUTTER
Add more salt and pepper and add steak butter.
Place ribeye on plate and wait for
2-3 minutes
