The Basics: Know Your Filets 📖

Don't cook too slow, your filets are ready to be eaten!
Longer cooking = falls apart = sad steak

Keep it short and sweet
Searing at a high heat for 3-4 minutes will do the trick.

Want to serve sliced steak? Slice before cooking!
Get the prettiest slices when you slice before searing. This is our favorite way to prep them! (see cooking option B)
Option A:
Cook it whole 💯
Cook your ribeyes in 3 easy steps!

Thaw
Thaw steaks overnight in the fridge or for 1 hour in cold water

Sear
Preheat pan on high heat and add oil. Sear steak on high heat for 1.5-2 minutes per side.
Cook your filet hot and fast for the perfect texture.

season
Season generously with salt and pepper
Option B: Cook it sliced 🔪
Our favorite way to serve the filets!

Slice with sharp knife
Cut into 6-8 slices before searing

Sear edges
Keeping the slices held together, sear the top and bottom of the steak for 1.5-2 minutes per side.

Season and serve!
